Lillian Sage
Perhaps you remember my very first maternity shoot, with Kimberly? Well, here is her little bundle of joy, Miss Lillian Sage. She weighed in at a whooping 6 pounds, 7 ounces and here she is at 15 days old. She was a great model and was quite content to sleep during most of my visit.

Gator Cards
JLS Photography is now a member of Gator Cards. Gator cards is a local organization that has partnered with local businesses to bring you great discounts! With the economy the way it is, we can all use a little discount on things that we normally purcahse. Gator Cards offers discounts at many Gainesville businesses, from haircuts to nightlife. There are different cards to choose from, so certainly there is one to meet your needs. And best of all, the cards are really affordable! There is a dining card, a nightlife card, a posh card, and the deluxe card that is all of the cards combined, with a few additional businesses.
JLS Photography is on the deluxe card, which retails for $35.00 The other 3 cards are $15.00 each. Trust me, the discounts that you get with these cards are well worth it!

October Specials and Sessions
Happy Fall everyone! First off, you are receiving this email because you have shown an interest in booking a photo session with me. If you are no longer interested please let me know and I can be sure to remove you from my mailing list. If you wish to continue to receive updates from me, please send me an email letting me know you would LIKE to be on the mailing list. I hope to be able to use this to share monthly specials with everyone, as well as let you know when I am offering mini on location sessions.
Fall means pumpkins, hay bales, and best of all COOLER WEATHER! The sun will also be setting earlier, so evening sessions will have to occur a little bit earlier in order to catch the best light. One hour before sunset is the most ideal time for sessions, as is early in the morning (which is extremely difficult when you have young children I know!)
Some recent changes and updates:
There will be a change in the way I do client proofing. I have been leaving client's galleries loaded onto my hosting page for as long as possible, though as I have gotten more clients I will have to reevaluate how long I am able to leave the galleries posted due to space limitations. I know it is tough to make a decision on the photos, so I plan to leave the photos available for 60 days after the gallery goes live. Of course the photos will always be available to me on CD and my external hard drive, but there will most likely be a charge for accessing it after 60 days. All galleries that are posted as of today will be taken down on 1/1/2009. I will send another email 30 days before, then again at 2 weeks before and 3 days before I take them down, as a reminder. The charge for late orders will be $50, so something to keep in mind.
OCTOBER SPECIAL: The special for October is 25% off prints in your online gallery. This is a huge savings, so please take advantage of it.
OCTOBER MINI SESSIONS: I am offering mini on location sessions at Kanapaha Botanical Gardens on October 4th. The sessions will last approximately 45 minutes and are a great and affordable way to get some family Christmas photos for cards and gifts. Kanapaha is a beautiful and versatile setting for photos. I am only charging $35 for these sessions, so please take advantage of it! This coupled with the 25% off prints is a huge savings for you and your family. Please email me if you are interested and I can tell you the time slots available. There is plenty of shade in some of the gardens, so we can still do pictures in the mid day sun at this location.
As always regular portrait sessions are available for $50 for the standard session, $100 for multiple locations or larger families. I have plenty of packages available for maternity, newborn, watch me grow first year sessions and engagements.
OCTOBER ORLANDO SESSIONS: I will be making a trip to Orlando for the weekend of October 18th and 18th. I will be arriving in town on Friday night so that I can start doing sessions bright and early on Saturday morning and I will be holding sessions until sundown on Sunday. So if you are in Orlando and would like a session, please let me know so I can get you scheduled. There are no travel fees for these sessions, so this is a huge savings! And all sessions will include the 25% pricing listed above. I know spots will be taken fairly quickly, and some are already booked. I am not charging a deposit to hold your spot, so please be courteous and plan to be there for the time you pick.

I am pleased to be able to offer boudoir sessions for a limited time. These photos make wonderful Christmas gifts for the men in your life. I am planning to offer then through the middle of January for Christmas and Valentines Day so if it is something you are interested in please book your session soon.

I will be able to do sessions after this, but there will be a rush charge if Christmas delivery is desired. All Christmas card orders must be completed before November 30th so that you get them with enough time to mail them out.
